What is your favorite War movie?
 

Mine is Full metal jacket.

Might wanna change the title, as I know many of those have nothing to do with the Vietnam war, but just war in general.

There is no other Vietnam War movie, Apocalypse Now is now, and will forever be, the only Vietnam War movie.

apocalypse now no contest....full metal jacket comes close...

Besides the boot camp scenes, Full Metal Jacket is just an okay movie.

I love the smell of napalm in the morning... hehe.
Other fave film is 'Shaving Ryan's Private's'...



...but it aint no war movie!

I alway preferred " Forest Hump "

ive always like "deer hunter" the best. its just so realistic. parts of it are actual war footage.

AP Now was great but Saving Private Ryan was crazy with all those effects.
