Oh and another thing...I was really offended the way the British were portrayed as Nazi's in the film, 'The Patriot', starring that tosser, Mel (I hate the English) Gibson.

Good to see him hung, drawn and quartered in 'Braveheart' though.

All this is true but unlike the evil jackbooted, monocled, heel clicking Nazi's, we British slaughtered and exploited our enemies with a certain style and panache that no other nation has matched before or since.

As for our big palaces? Well, I had to sell mine due to the current economical situation and sadly no longer am I able to live in the luxury I was once accustomed to.

But thats just it though , the British wern`t portrayed as nazis , the English were. You didn`t see any Scots Welsh or Irish going around burning churches & killing people in that movie.

mmm... true, there was'nt.
How much of that is down to the pretend Scots/American, Welsh/American and Irish/Americans not wanting their distant ancestery sullied I wonder?

Not to mention Mel (I hate the English) Gibson.
