Wink Space Age Pop / Lounge / Exotica?

Not sure where else to post this, but I really dig these laid back weirdo sounds. Please, educate me!

Examples:
Enoch Light Dimension 3

and

The Electric Eclectics Of Dick Hyman

Lay it on me, plz!

I've a massive collection of these LPs. They're lovely bits of novelty.

If you're looking for more like these, you'll defintely do well to explore the RYM Ultimate Box Set lists for The Moog Era. Dick Hyman, Enoch Light, Wendy Carlos, Perrey & Kingsley, and all the other veterans are here.

You'd also probably did a few LPs from the Space Age Pop list and possibly a few from the Exotica list if tiki is your bag.

And while 70s in-store MUZAK isn't exactly what you've requested, there are some real gems along the same line of kitschy easy listening music. davismv kindly ripped and uploaded his entire collection of KMART in-store cassettes to The Internet Archive, and it's fantastic stuff.

Check out this reel to reel from 1973 for a taste of what I'm talking about.

You can check out the rest of the Attention K-Mart Shoppers archive here.

Hope you enjoy!

Howsabout some Chaino? Dude had some crazy story about being rescued from a massacred tribe in central Africa but was actually from Philly. He made some pretty great atmospheric music:

Or the godfather of exotica, Korla Pandit, who claimed to be an Indian Brahmin but was actually an African-American guy named John Redd from Missouri.
