you're throwing a frisbie on the beach,you're sitting by the fireplace sipping some hot tea on a cold winter's eve,you're strolling through the park on a cool fall day,you're driving along the highway just chillin with the radio on...what makes these days sooo cool,it's the cool of dave Brubeck one of the true jazz masters of all time with his laidback just too cool sounds,it could be the hip[take five]or the hip[blue ronda a la turk]it doesn't matter because it's all good and cool if it's Brubeck.

well, I've always put Brubeck pretty firmly in the West Coast School of Jazz, but I can see what you mean and I agree a great deal with your comments. Many people consider Brubeck and his various bands as Cool Jazz players.
