Default Ray Charles

Damn I did a search on this guy and I can't believe there's no topic for him. How many people like this guy?
He overcame so many obstacles thrown his way (blind obviously, drug addiction) and wrote so many outstanding pieces.
His last album Genius Loves Company was outstanding, in my opinion featuring some of the best duets ever.
Anyone else love this guy?

A song that never gets much credit is "wish you were here", I love that song.

Dude, check out his early 60's work on Atlantic Records. Genius + Soul = Jazz is a life-changing experience.

What movie? Is there a movie?

I love his music. Don't know much about the guy himself, but you can tell he's made his way through a lot with those lyrics.
