...just one day short of his 92nd b-day
and on his way to an appointment with his cardiologist.

RIP. One of my favourite jazz pianists. I got to see him perform a couple of years ago at the Montreal Jazz Festival, and it was amazing.

That's sad to hear. I love his music.

Though I guess what more can you ask from life? He was an extremely talented and successful guy who lived to a ripe old age. Few people are so lucky.

Yep, only I hate to see people die around this time of year. Everyone should get a last Christmas surrounded by people they love.


This is one of these cases where I'm going to check out his music cause I feel guilty for not doing so before his passing.

Noooooo! Dangit Dave Brubeck you were supposed to be immortal!

He was a true legend. He has influenced countless jazz pianists and jazz musicians in general. He will be missed.

I may have to go listen to Take Five now.

The Dave Brubeck Quartet has been such an iconic group through the decades. What an amazing legacy that man will leave behind him.
