Pekka Pohjola - Harakka Bialoipokku
The “story of a magpie who wonders (or wanders) the world”. I hope this is on-topic as it's like a jazz chamber rock prog folk fusion explosion

This has to be the only Miles song, at least that I've heard, that's so bad it's good
I didn't realize Bob Dorough, who sang this song, is the guy who wrote most of School House Rock and performed many of the songs. Last edited by SGR; 01-05-2023 at 10:55 AM. |

This is why I effing love jazz.
If I heard this lady practising across the street I definitely wouldn't be able to connect with her melody or downbeat or tempo or key. It would just be random sounds. Similarly, if I only heard the band playing without her I'd probably just think it's a pleasant background groove. However hearing both together somehow give off a friggin' awesome sound, and it all clicks into place in some weird stellar combustion. It's like you can't have one without the other. I wonder if it's their own composition or a cover of a jazz standard? (This short snippet was all she posted on her insta yesterday). Does anyone recognize it...? www.youtube.com/watch?v=x-MhGhEJ_Mo |
