I'm not sure what tree jazz is, but I enjoy FREE jazz. Maybe I'll listen to some of that, instead.

And this... this is just perfect. Solos are on fire through the whole thing, the percussion is wild, and boy does it swing. This here is a dancin' tune!

Hard bop is so fun to listen to, and so smooth, that it's difficult to remember that they're playing at a level of skill my pitiful mind can hardly comprehend.

And on that note, when I'm in the mood for some straightforward, no-nonsense jazz, The Jazz Messengers (Horace Silver leading this one) is the group to go to.
