An original take on the R Johnson classic, and an album with many interesting tracks, though all their inventiveness can get a bit exhausting. I'm still ambivalent about this quartet (which I discovered yesterday): some great playing, some slow tracks sim to classical music, but other tracks go to the other extreme and sound cheerful -or even worse, playful. :yikes: |
