Default Help!! For bassist

hi for anyone who knows how to read sheet music I am going to be playing bass (guitar) with a pianist how do I do this?? I know how to read the bass cleff but it would sound weird if I played all the same bass notes that the piano does so anyone who's ever done this please let me know thanks:/

It won't sound that weird if you play the same bass notes as the pianist. However, the key is not to do it too often. The pianist should play in a higher register so they don't clash with what you're playing.
