Default Savoy Brown

Savoy Brown was originally known as the Savoy Brown Blues Band. They were a major player in the British Blues movement of the late `60s. I started listening to them when they released Raw Sienna in 1970, a excellent album with the haunting track "Needle and Spoon". The next few albums that caught my attention was Hellbound Train in 1972, Jack The Toad 1973 and Boogie Brothers in 1974 after that I kind of lost track of them until their latest release Voodoo Moon!

Kim Simmonds - Guitar
Joe Whiting - Vocals
Garnet Grimm - Drums
Pat DeSalvo - Bass

Welcome to Savoy Brown with Kim Simmonds offical website!

I know this is old, but yes, Savory Brown is awesome! I saw them Kim Simmonds live a couple years ago.

I own their very first record, Shake down, it's very good blues rock. I was not very impressed by their later albums.
