BADBADNOTGOOD - 'BBNG'

These guys are a super cool Jazz group that cover Hip Hop tunes, Zelda themes and even Joy Division. Their album is free to download and I am sure any fan of Jazz, Hip Hop beats or just good music would dig this.

Hmmm... I'll take purposely ironic bands with "Bad" in their name who do jazz covers of popular contemporary songs for 2000, Alex:

These guys apparently do a lot of work with Odd Future. I am sure it is interesting stuff.

I wanted to shake my cane and tell new ironic jazz cover bands to get off my lawn too (I love The Bad Plus), but I have to say BadButNotGood is exciting me quite a bit.

They have four or five original tracks on their new LP, which are all pretty great. But they do have a cover My Bloody Valentine on it, which isn't cheesy or cringe inducing.
