I didn't know BADBADNOTGOOD and I am of course aware of, but not really familiar with, Ghostface Killah. Gunshowers might be the best rap track I've newly discovered in ages! Thanks for the tip. Can't wait for the album to come out.

^The tunes I posted yesterday had me bawling. No doubt aided by Colin Stetson's extraordinary circular-breathing capacities on the sax, but the whole band also evoked a lot of emotion.
Great to see this thread was started in 2011 by Goofle. I wanted to touch upon BBNG once more. I've read that they reach out into many areas like hip-hop and jazz rap, and they certainly don't think themselves as purely a jazz group. Whatever they get up to in the future I will always remember them as the Canadian kids in the 2010s who hit me with a touch of arrogance, freaky masks and lush grooves. A bit like Knower, who grindy posted about recently. I think this concert was in the UK (perhaps London) in the mid 2010s. Last edited by Saulaac; 11-10-2022 at 10:54 AM.
