Jazz records with a build-up like a house record?

I'm searching for jazz records with a 'house music like' build-up or feeling? It can be any jazz genre or sub-genre.

One of my favorite tracks is Donald Byrd's - Lansana's Priestess.

I'm a house fan for many years and I always like it to hear different music styles that remind me of house music. I know it's a little bit vague, but maybe there is someone that knows what I'm feeling?

So any recommendations?

(I'm not searching for St. Germain type of records)
