Another bad-ass band not a lot of people have heard of. Marx Ford of the Black Crowes produced their last record, and it is really, really good. Their guitar player is insane (reminds me of a Truth-era Jeff Beck) and the rhythm section is as smooth as Fleetwood Mac's. I first saw them a couple years ago in Chicago - also saw them open up for Gov't Mule a few months ago...they simply rock, but with a bluesy bend to it. Which is why O posted this thread and the Driving Wheel thread down here - both bands are "rock bands" in every sense, but they are more at home here, with John Lee Hooker and Junior Kimbrough, then they would benup top wih the Godsmacks and the Nicklebacks and crap...they play REAL music.

Anyway, check 'em out!

nice. I love these guys. not a lot of people know about them, but they are smooth. it'll be awesome to hear a live record by them!
