I cant believe there's not already a thread about him. His music is incredible.

Yeah dude, definitely one of the premier vibraphonists in jazz. I love his album Cirrus.

hey guys, i just saw this thread and checked him out. i think he's a great vibraphonist jazz player, but do you guys have any recommendations of his best songs? unless all his songs are equally all great. i can accept that too.

yeah everything hes done is pretty much awesome, but check out his album happenings. thats what i started with.

The first Bobby Hutcherson tune I heard and fell in love with is Montara, from his Blue Note days. Madlib and The Roots have cool remixes of it too!
