McCoy Tyner is probably my favourite these days. I'm also a huge fan of Alexander Von Schlippenbach.

Jamie Cullum is more of a pop Jazz artist from the UK, but he is an excellent pianist. Check him out.

I tend to forget Nina Simone stepped outside of Blues into gospel and was also a wonderful pianist. This track was the first song to jolt me out of my ‘only classical music matters’ ignorance.
