I agree that Johnny has contributed more but only b/c Stevie went out like a proper Rock God, in a ball of furious flame. If he was still around I think he would have racked up quite an impressive body of work. Even though it's more commercial.. I do enjoy the Vaughan Bros. CD a lot. Texas Blues is like a whole Universe unto itself.

johnny is def. underrated, imo. i still like srv better for a lot of reasons but it's kind of like debating if stevie wonder or marvin g.aye had more soul. they both did their thing in a totally unique way which was why they ruled so hard. too bad marvin and stevie ray aren't around to see what's going on now. |
