All I know is that Coltrane intended A Love Supreme to be a spiritual thing for himself, and that's just what I hear. Then again, I feel like I can feel him sobbing whenever I listen to Naima.

You like Stan Kenton's City of Glass? I need to get that album.. And everything else Coltrane has ever released.
