FYI you can find this on Spotify if you leave the s off of Quintets

Good Savoy compilation from the 40’s loaded with talent including: Bud Powell, Max Roach, Hank Jones, and Sonny Rollins.
Nice. Thanks for the link.

Iconili
Quintais

I don't know what else to say other than this is fantastic. Brazilian blend of fusion, jazz-prog, samba, and a whole mess of others. Electric album.

The Very Best of Nancy Wilson: The Capitol Recordings 1960-1976 (2007, Capitol)

One of my favorite tracks from her.

Don Cherry
Relativity Suite

Great world music mixed with avant-garde jazz.

Mtume
Rebirth Cycle

Pretty much essential spiritual jazz listening. Putting this on directly after Alice Coltrane's Universal Consciousness might make one ascend to the plateau of enlightenment. For real. It does have a few funky tracks though.

I’ve never heard this but it’s on YouTube, thankfully.

You got this on vinyl or what?

I will eventually. Tough one to find in the wild and they go for like $100+ online.

I buy expensive records. I'll wait on this one though. It'll probably roll through the shop one day.

Milford Graves
Babi

Legendary live performance with Arthur Doyle and Hugh Glover. Chaos. Scatting vocals. Counting aloud. Screeching. Pounding. Wailing. Lunacy.

Rare ass record too. Graves is wild.
