Oh yeah, I do like Coltrane but not as mad about him as most Jazz fans are. I much prefer Stan Getz to be honest. My most endured Jazz artist so far is Miles Davis, Im mostly into the later, weirder, more experimental Jazz stuff & even the fusion side of things with Tortoise & the likes.
Anyway, I actually got a live version of the album on Play.com for only £2.99 which is pretty good.

Listening to Monk's Music, the drum solo in Epistrophe makes me sad over how underrated jazz drummers like Art Blakey are.

Brilliant Corners (Monk), for the thousandth time. Pannonica is simply breathtaking. Anybody know where I can buy a celesta? (Or where I get get a few thousand bucks to buy it?)

Seconded! Im a massive fan of Miles Davis & he is my most endured Jazz artist. I much prefer his later work, which was what I started on, as opposed to the earlier stuff. I have a much bigger liking for the sort of 'on the edge' stuff he did in the 70s & 80s. My favourite album is 'On The Corner'. I also love 'Doo Bop' which was his last album , released posthumously in 1991.

Um, no I think I added it to downloads, Im gonna have to get out my external hard drive when Im off on sunday as Im pretty much out of memory at the moment. I just dont like having it out all the time as Im worried itll break(Ive heard they can get broke very easily).
Yeah, I reckon 'Lawn Boy' & 'A Picture Of Nectar' are the ones that you would like the most. You should also download 'Billy Breathes' though. I have quite a lot of Phish albums on my WMP but havent listened to all of them yet.

He is definately a legend.

I tend to like individual songs more than albums when it comes to jazz music, and for me "Take Five" and "Freddie Freeloader" are my absolute favourites by Miles Davis.
