Never heard of the movie nor the soundtrack, can you give us a general idea of what some of its characteristics are? ie instrumentation, pacing, size, electronic or no, guitar etc etc etc...

Ahem... anyway, the soundtrack is a mixed bag of everything from Bollywood to punk rock but most of it, and what Odyshape is asking about, is the very old, obscure delta blues that Steve Buscemi's character collects the 78s of. |

Get some Miles Davis, hes who I started out on, Or some John Coltrane, if your already into guitar based music you might find it easier to listen to the likes or Pat Metheny or even Tortoise. Stan Getz is amazing also Herbie Han****. The latest i got into is Thelonious Monk who is incredible. I have been totally gobsmacked at how great Jazz is and how talented the musicians are. Now I feel like an idiot for dismissing it in the past without actually hearing it first.
