The Coin Coin series from beginning to end (it's not finished yet) is all you'll need.
Also check out Cecil Taylor, starting with Nefertiti, the Beautiful One Has Come. Do you have a good list of what you have heard? I don't want to ask you if you've heard the best albums from the classics all night.

not albums but i can give you a general idea of artists i suppose.
Coltrane Davis a little Coleman Dolphy Sun Ra some Monk little bit of Mingus few songs by Duke Ellington, no full projects i think that should give you a rough idea, at least those are the first artists that come to my head. and when i list them i'm referring pretty much exclusively to stuff they've done under their own name, i haven't looked into any collaboration or anything.

Interesting that monk is not full, but Coltrane and Miles Devis are full. I guess that these trumpet and sax guys, obviously are not trivial. But are not a genius like of Monk. I am not sure that solo instrument alow to understand music as harmonic inst-t.
