And the Grammy Goes To .......Willie "Big Eyes" Smith and Pinetop Perkins for Joined At the Hip in the category of Best Traditional Blues Album. At the age of 97, Perkins became the oldest Grammy winner, A little more than a month later, Perkins died on March 21st, 2011 at his home in Austin, Texas.

Thanks! Yeah, He is a Blues legend! I have 3 of Pinetop`s CDs and I have him on a few others CDs as a featured artist.

Thanks, we did have a great time! I brought the song to the guys attention just a few days prior, so we had lots of fun trying to learn it.

The legendary folklorist Alan Lomax had a car outfitted with field recording equipment. He drove across the country, making thousands of these "field recordings", including some by a then unknown Muddy Waters, Leadbelly and many more. These recordings are preserved at the Library of Congress.
