Film noir-like jazz?
 

I really want some slow tempo, "detectivey" jazz, but can't seem to find any. Uh, the only example I can come up with is the background music in Black Books in the episode where Bernard gets locked out and tries to find things to do to pass the time.

Noir-ish jazz eh. How about The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble?

I like that and I'll probably check them out, but I'm looking for something traditional - not electronic or anything.
