Estradasphere
I got a live album from this band where they play in Boston and
its really really good. Formed from members of Mr. Bungle and Secret Chiefs 3 (tha latter i havent heard) they are jazzy but with a rock edge and a high level of experimentalism.

Book M is great and has some of my favorite SC3 songs but my favorite album by them is Book of Horizons. It just has a great dynamic to it and really works as an album from beginning to end.

yeah 'book of horizons' is pretty awesome too. i just find 'book M' to be a more cohesive album. both discs share a lot of the same elements, i guess it's just whether or not you like your middle eastern death metal on the side or mixed in with the main dish hehehe

I'll say this: "Horsemen of the Invisible" from Book M is one of the freaking greatest high-energy songs ever and really needs to be used in some kung-fu fight or post-apocalyptic car chase scene in a movie.

Whatever it is, it would have to be extremely cheesy, filled with green screen effects. And combat for the Angel as montage music for a middle eastern kung fu guy training. |

I think you got it mixed around, I'm pretty sure that members of Estradasphere are part of Secret chiefs 3, not some members of Mr. Bungle and Secret chiefs 3 being a part of Estradasphere.
Haven't heard that much of them, but I've heard them play alot in Secret chiefs 3. Alot of the members of the band were in Secret chief 3's Xaphan album. |

From Allmusic
"Unmistakably derived from the genre-bending loins of experimental rockers Mr. Bungle and Secret Chiefs 3, Estradasphere respectfully lives up to the ambitious musical aims of their wildly talented mentors." I guess that doesn't necessarily mean it has band members from Bungle and SC3 tho. Anyway, Palace of Mirrors is a really tight album. Equally good as Book M I think.
