"Cause we ended as lovers" - Jeff Becks version...not a traditional 1-4-5 blues by any means but the feeling is there...especially the volume swells at the beginning. Another jazzy blues is becks version of T Monks "Good Bye PorkPie Hat" off of Becks "Wired".

The "We get requests" album with Oscar Peterson trio from 1962, I think... Peterson, Tigpen & Brown at their best.
The complete album is just perfect for those rainy, gloomy days when you just wanna stay indoor.
It has a very melancholy feeling. all together
..Love it!

well when I'm feeling sad I usually just put on some Muddy Waters or BB.

For some reason my favorite bluesman, John Lee Hooker, doesn't make me feel blue.

yay another Beck fan! I'm recently hooked on "She's a Women" but Pork Pie Hat and "Cause We've Ended as Lovers" are classics!!

SRV - "Texas Flood". I also like BB King - "Caldonia" because it makes me laugh.
