Question Does anybody know this 80's song that sounds similar to Hash Pipe by Weezer?

It's by a female artist and the vocal flow sounds very similar to the first 22 seconds in Hash Pipe. I think that this 80's song definitely could've been the inspiration for Hash Pipe, but surprisingly it wasn't credited on the song's Wikipedia page... There's no mention anywhere online of an 80's song that sounds similar to it. I heard it on the Music Choice 80's TV channel a while ago, I don't remember any of the lyrics.

I think we're going to need a little more info. A lot of songs start off with riffs similar to Hash Pipe.

There's no guitars, it's a New-Wave-80's Pop song and the woman's vocal flow sounds exactly the same as the non-chorus parts of Hash Pipe. If you know any older songs that sound similar to Hash Pipe, please list them.

That's not enough. Here are some new wave bands fronted by women. Listen to these songs and see if any of the voices sound similar.
  1. Don't Look · Nervus Rex
  2. The Metro - Berlin
  3. The waitresses - no guilt
  4. Holly and the Italians, ‘Tell That Girl to Shut Up’
  5. Rachel Sweet, ‘New Rose’
  6. Pearl Harbor and the Explosions, ‘Shut Up and Dance’
  7. Spider, ‘New Romance (It’s a Mystery)’
  8. Robin Lane & the Chartbusters, ‘Don’t Cry’
  9. Josie Cotton, ‘Jimmy Loves Maryann’
  10. The Passions, ‘I’m in Love with a German Film Star’
  11. Pulsallama, ‘The Devil Lives in My Husband’s Body’
  12. Suzanne Fellini, ‘Love on the Phone’
  13. NENA - 99 Luftballons

Default I think i know the song that sounds like Hash Pipe's vocal flow at the beginning

Lita Ford's Kiss Me Deadly

It was bugging me too. But i also feel like there might be another song also out there.

YES!! THAT'S IT!! Thank you so much... Sorry for the late reply.
This song totally deserves credit for inspiring Weezer's Hash Pipe!

Great song! Listening to music really helps me to forget about the amount of stress I have at the moment. It’s amazing how a good tune can lift your mood and provide a much-needed escape from the pressures of daily life. Even though I found https://ukwritings.com/assignment-writer to help with my workload, there are still so many things I need to accomplish. It’s a relief to have some support with my assignments, but balancing everything still feels overwhelming at times.

Cheri Currie, Lita Ford and Joan have all had some pretty good moments as solo artists.
