Intro Post
Greetings.
I'm a 20 year college student in the northeast USA region. I was classically trained as a violinist but I taught myself electric bass and guitar so I can play any string instrument (unless you count piano as a string instrument) My preferred genre is hard rock or classic rock, but lately I've also been listening to Jpop music like Snow Halation by m's |

Welcome to MusicBanter, a haven for the heavenly disaffected!
What are you going to school for? Do you have a declared major? What's your favorite Doors album? And what do you think about disco? |

Welcome to MB, 2000Man !
Our classical music section is pretty slow-moving, but plenty of rock fans, rock recommendations to explore. I hope you enjoy yourself!

Hey, welcome to the forum! ^^ I think a piano is a percussion instrument, but I may be wrong. The piano is quite an interesting instrument to classify, for sure.
Also, I started to listening to JPop/JRock about 6 years ago and listen to it off and on. Some good artists I recommend are LiSA and Garnidelia. I hope you enjoy your stay and find your place here in this music haven! |

Some of these intro posts are so bizarre, people make an account, open a thread to introduce themselves and are then never seen again. Wtf. Why would you even bother??
