Well, I have all Springsteen's stuff up to the Lucky Town/Human Touch release, and also the Seeger Sessions.

I don't really have an absolute favorite, but if I need a fix, I invariably reach for Asbury Park. Lost In The Flood, Mary Queen of Arkansas, Does This Bus Stop At 82nd St. Epic.

That fact alone about the Tascam made me curious about Nebraska but I really never got around to listen to it straight through. I like early Bruce Springsteen where lyrically he was in the verbal vortex of the Van Zimmie zone, and the E Street Band was filled with piss and vinegar. So I have to go with Greetings from Asbury and Born to Run.

Peace, Uncle. I'm Shen_Lo. It's nice to meet you. (Why does typing this seem so much more formal than what it is?) Anyway, what stood out to me is that you listen to throat singing and things like that. I was just introduced to that early last year and I have to admit, it's like you said, there is something very meditative about the harmonizing of voices that really strikes a chord wit me. When did you first hear throat singing?
