Hello. I'm Layla. I'm obsessed with Sufjan Stevens. I also like Local Natives, Kali Uchis, New Order, Lana Del Rey, Phil Elverum, Lykke Li and this is probably getting boring. I want to discover more artists and that's the main reason why I decided to join this forum. The only genres I can't seem to get into are heavy metal and country/hillbilly white people music.

This made me laugh.

I'm glad. I don't mean there's anything wrong with it. I guess I'm open to anything. It's just not very popular where I'm from.

I was laughing more at the notion that country music also double as hillbilly white people music. I mean it's accurate but also funny.

I love them. My favorite albums by them are Power, Lies and Corruption and Brotherhood. I also like Joy Division, The Cure, Talking Heads, The Psychedelic Furs and Television. I think that's all the New Wave I'm familiar with but I really want to discover more bands.

I've never heard of Fad Gadget.

What albums do you recommend by those artists?
