So, my name is Evan and I'm studying Music Technology BSc at De Montfort University, Leicester (UK) and as part of my third-year technology project I'm basically comparing the recording, mixing and production processes in two different studios: an industry standard studio and a home-studio in an ad hoc space.

I'm trying to compare loads of areas such as plugins, software, hardware, microphones and workflows in each studio environment and I'm open for ideas on how to go about it!
