Do you like Post Punk? There's a ton of bizarre Disco/Funk tracks from out of the scene.

Sure do.

You mean like Lizzy Mercier Descloux? Not very versed in the matter, no.

Yeah. I'm waiting for elph to come in and bring the rec storm. He's a big fan of Lizzy, and dance oriented experimental music in general.

But some weird Disco/Funk/Dance songs I love are Danger by Pylon, Born in Xixax by Nina Hagen, White Mice by Mo-Dettes, Lucky Number by Lene Lovich, Contort Yourself by James Chance and The Contortions (the 12" Disco remix is fun, too), Blue Monday by New Order, stuff like that. And, you know, pretty much everything by Talking Heads.

Been trying to find the time for listening to that comp and some more Lizzy, but how the **** should one be able to listen to everything one wants? There simply is too much music. Anyhow, I came to think of this ex-yugoslavian dancy post-punk band Otroci socializma I listened to quite alot some years ago, and now felt like dropping:

Any love for stuff like this?
