the last community i was a part of (a close-knit group of insufferably elitist teenagers who all posted on the same roblox subforum) finally splintered so i've been in search of a new forum to waste my time on

perhaps this will be the one

We are a close-knit group of insufferable elitist adults who all ****post here so hopefully you'll fit right in. What do you listen to?

a lot of 90s indie bands - stuff along the lines of pavement, sebadoh, guided by voices, etc. - as well as bands like superdrag, which i guess would be considered like... 90s power pop? or pop rock or whatever you want to call it

i've listened to pretty much the entirety of death cab for cutie's discography (save for you can play these songs with chords) so i guess you could say i'm a big fan of them too

also used to be really into shoegaze, though my interest in it has waned over the past year and a half

You might get a lot of shit from Elph or Qwertty for liking indie bands but not from me. 2000's indie rock is basically my life.

OccultHawk 08-19-2018 03:57 PM

I like things

i don't like a lot of 2000s indie actually, there are a few songs i like here or there but for whatever reason death cab is pretty much the only 2000s band i actively listen to

^^ I thought that was gonna be some lame hairmetal thing but turned out some pretty cool late 90s alt rock I guess? I never heard of the band...good stuff...:)

they're really good, definitely one of the best (if not the best) bands to come out of the shoegazing scene in england
