Well, it is a stereotypical hairstyle in Japan which commonly seen among thugs, gang members, bōsōzoku, or high-school hoodlums.

Not sure if you still be able to see these in Japan nowadays. Probably it still exits but haven't seen one until now.

As for music, they have really cool musics and dance move sets.
