Me
I don't know whether I have done this already so here is it.
I am very interested in music since I am about 14. I enjoy almost every genre ranging from Metal (almost every subgenre except for Death Metal but I like especially swedish Black Metal with bands such as Sorhin and old Setherial and british Heavy Metal with NWOBHM bands such as Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and Tokyo Blade) to Electronic (I enjoy especially 90s Drum & Bass with more complex rhythms such as Squarepusher, Photek, Aphex Twin ...). I also enjoy the recent Trap-Hype and I think that smart Trap is the music of the future as it has the possibility to be as psychedelic as no other genre ever before. Furthermore I enjoy German rap music as there is gold stuff to be found with very complex patterns and ingenious play on words. Theres also a bit of classic Psychedelic Rock and Progressive Rock I listen to as well as Stoner Rock. I enjoy classical Folk (like Viking Folk) and ritualistic music with shaman vocals and big drums as well as Martial Industrial and Soundtrack music. Aaaaaand... I am a musician myself. Yet I am not a professional I have tought myself quite a lot and am now able to create the music I have also searched for but couldn't find. It's a mixture between hard hitting Trap, complex rhythms flavored with a psychedelic attitude and a ritualistic feel to it. That is what I strive for and it gets better every time. I am going to open another thread searching for musically like-minded people later this weekend. Without being to inflated: I think I might be an actual enrichment for this community and I am really looking forward to discussing music with you! Regards! |
