..Imo.

No, you're right, it's pretty godawful. However, pop music is rarely something I'd qualify as musically (or lyrically) complex. It should, however, at least be enjoyable on a shallow level, like a Reese's peanut butter cup (sure, it's not creme brûlée, but at least it provides a modest level of enjoyment in a pinch.). At least the Katy Perry crowd have redeemable entertainment qualities, whereas Megan Trainor's music merely serves to capitalize upon the insecurities of adolescents who happen to possess terrible musical tastes.

Cosmetologist...
You must have to deal with so many annoying people in your line of work.

And that's without counting the customers, too.

I hear this all the time just about different bands usually on the opposite side of the musical spectrum. 9 times out of 10 ICP.

Just based off of this statement alone, I can tell you don't listen to much rap.

Also what? she said **** skinny bitches, the same thing that Nicki Minaj has said.

Skinny chicks have done so much hating on bigger women over the years that they have created Meghan essentially. Along with beauty magazines and the fashion industry that continues to hate on big women.

Also not even just hating on big women but creating a negative image for little girls that end up looking up to certain magazines as an example and then end up with an eating disorder.

I can't see myself listening to a song that ragged on fat girls, so why would I listen to one that rags on skinny girls? More importantly though is the fact that Meghan Trainor's music sucks for so many more reasons than just lyrics.

djchameleon 10-08-2016 06:54 AM

She barely even ragged on skinny girls though. She said one line and it wasn't as direct as Nicki Minaj's song

Ol’ Qwerty Bastard 10-08-2016 06:57 AM

Uhh... she blew up off of a song with a message of "men prefer big girls."
