This isn't a very good story 2/10.

well then here's a story for you:
the history of my music tastes. i was raised to be a christian, and i was homeschooled. when it came to books, tv, and music, it wasn't allowed unless it was christian or my mom previewed it. so until halfway through 2008, i had never actively heard any music except christian music. even then, i didnt listen to the radio, but i used playlist dot com and found music through recommendations (from a twilight chat room i secretly joined, shh) or through searching random words. so, i'm still catching up on a lot of bands. for example, Bring Me The Horizon, i've had them on shuffle on spotify for half the day(for ulterior motives) and i like them. theyve been around for 10 years. and sure, i knew about them for some of that time, but i had convinced myself somehow that i didnt like screaming music (but i do?) so i never tried them out. that's probably a weak example to you but there it is. |
