Not legally but it's a self enforced rule that can maim credibility when broken.

Maim?

Just realized that the guy in your avatar must have posted a picture of a kid on the internet.

No he actually screwed Lori Maddox. Who was first taken down by both David Bowie and his wife.

Keep up man.

He really is Chula's biggest inspiration. Everything from guitar playing to pedophilia.

Planning a fun weekend escapade in my old hometown of Rochester, NY. We'll be celebrating my wife's new job, visiting some very special friends from as far away as India, crate digging to pick up some swing records for her at our favorite shop, and parading in the lovely autumn weather.

Outfit #1 has been selected. Celebrating fall in style.

My apologies for the silver clouding of the mirror - it's from the early 20s and built into the original door so I do the best I can with it.

I'm just going to sit here and wait on the picture of you wearing worn jeans, an Iron Maiden T-shirt, sneakers, and a Yankees ball cap.

And I am NOT going to hold my breath. :D

It'll never happen. Innerspaceboy is far too dapper to succumb to us lesser beings.

I am a classy bastard.

Frownland 10-11-2016 10:17 PM

You're too classy for the Maiden shirt for sure.

Chula Vista 10-11-2016 10:28 PM

30 years after the fact this **** is vintage and you could totally make it work.

Lucem Ferre 10-11-2016 10:31 PM

I think I might buy a Maiden shirt then walk up to random people and say "Hi, I am a rock and roll fan, if you couldn't tell by my shirt. I am a huge heavy metal fan. Look at my shirt."

innerspaceboy 10-11-2016 10:47 PM

Shocker of the day: I actually dug Fear of the Dark in high school, and I definitely give Maiden props for "The Prisoner" sampling the 1967 BBC series of the same name.

I've never heard of him, gotta look him up later.
I'm in the Huntington / Newport area basically.

I'm just east of San Diego. Arnett is great at playing snarky characters. Check out Arrested Development.

No they don't. They could do with a change.

Something else I've been meaning to check for a while. I haven't been to San Diego in a while but every time I've gone I've always enjoyed it.

Perfect fit.

The Batlord 10-12-2016 12:41 PM

And I actually prefer his singing, even if he does play to lame tropes. He's got a perfectly fine voice, but has absolutely no fire or conviction to his screams, so it just sounds like tri-hard bull**** cause metalcore singers scream and ****. It doesn't sound awful, just uninspired.

Out of the big four of that era, I personally prefer Avenged Sevenfold, Atreyu, and Bullet for my Valentine instead of Trivium. Could only really get into a few songs.

The Shogun album is fantastic for this reason.

Gross. I like a bit of Atreyu, but only from Lead Sails Paper Anchor cause of how cheesy and poppy it was. Otherwise they were a lame, bog-standard metalcore band. And how were those the big four of that era? Big Four of melodic metalcore would be Killswitch Engage, As I Lay Dying, Trivium, and... I don't know, Shadows Fall? Bring Me the Horizon? Last one doesn't matter.

OMG I wanna be an elitist at you so hard. Must resist temptation...

In terms of fanbase size is what I was referring to. At the time, the four I named were four of the biggest names in non-pop related music. Lead Sails Paper Anchor was easily my favorite album by them so we've got that in common.

A Death Grip On Yesterday is a pretty good album.

Why listen to things with titles that remind you of Death Grips when you can be reminded of Death Grips by listening to their music?

Mostly because I still have yet to listen to Death Grips
