Haha, well whatever you think, my darling, but you are not fat, and that is the only time I will ever say that to you. Everyone gets one.

It's that thing of having a rough idea where people come from just by their looks.

Thanks man! You're right, I am a typical fair skinned, blue eyed scandinavian. Maybe I'll see if I can find a sword and a helmet to complete the look for my next pic (or not) ;) Also, I can often tell if people are finnish for example. The typical englishman is a lot harder, though.

Awesome tattoo man.

Thanks! :D

I dug up a photo I'd had taken when I first got it back in 06'...

Let me tell ya that was not a pleasant healing experience... I'd gotten it while on R&R during a deployment to Iraq, and upon returning, having to wear long sleeved uniforms in 135 degree F. weather... I seriously regretted not thinking that through. lol..

Hah! I know that feeling. That's part of the reason why I do independent contractor work now because I have tattoos in places that may disqualify me from certain jobs. The two on my neck aren't exactly threatening in any way and the one that's most visible is small enough that it can be hard to see, but employers still give me grief over it. I don't normally like tribal tattoos, but yours really works well for you.

350 Euro, as I got it in Germany and it took almost 4 hours.
Went to a local place called "Art & Soul", not really knowing what I wanted but knowing I wanted a tribal design down my entire left arm. (To me, tattoos only need to look good, not mean anything... my perception changes so much, it would be pointless if I had a complex agenda)
So a guy that worked there, his street name being "Tin Tin", turned out to be a fantastic free-hander and had gotten accolades.

I just told him to free-hand a design in pen, down to my wrist, and try to make it flow with what was already there.

He was on point first try. After that, it was head nods and he got to work.

To this day, if you go to that ink shop, you'll see my photo in big print on their main wall.
Tin Tin is excellent in tribal detail and clarity.
Slow, but effective.
