The other week? Yeah, but we dated for 7 years so its not like an accomplishment. I was like 22 in that picture.

Dropped three belt notches in less than a month.

Starbucks: $5-6 on average for 16oz coffee
Monster: $1.50-2.50 for 16oz

it's essentially a hot milkshake, yeah

two of the worst things are

You could always save money by snorting cocaine.

Actually it is true. You can get a monster here for under 2 bucks.

Ninetales 08-13-2015 08:17 PM

I meant the coffee costing $5

either way people who drink monsters are garbage children

The cheapest coffee at Starbucks in our area is around 4-5$. I can even take a picture of the menu for you.

Frownland 08-13-2015 08:37 PM

'Coffee'

The small is 1.75. A large is 2.50ish.

Your reliance on caffeine to stay functional amuses me.

Exactly. Nicotine is all you need to be ready for the day.

I love water, as nothing else is quite as refreshing, but I need more variety in my beverages.

Ninetales 08-14-2015 08:55 AM

morning: orange juice
work day: water
after work: beer/ice tea

This is acceptable. Though sweet tea at work is pretty epic -- since I work at a place which actually has sweet tea, this is much easier for me.

RoxyRollah 08-14-2015 10:26 AM

Sweet Tea: loaded with caffeine.

Sweet tea is repulsive. Especially in the South where very little tea is added to the sugar. Sugar pretty much negates an enjoyable tea experience by overpowering the subtle flavors and scents of various brews. The only time I like my tea sweet is when it's been fermented into Kombucha. Now THAT is an epic tea experience.

BK's sweet tea is pretty bomb I gotta admit

Tea isn't the point of sweet tea. It's the tea augmenting the sugar. And you gotta get that **** with mad ice. I didn't use to like sweet tea either, but then I had it filled with ice. O.M.G.

Sorry pal. Ice just can't save ST... Not even the good crushed kind that would turn it into a ST slushy. To really appreciate tea, it's best to invest in a Breville tea maker so you can customize your steep time and temperature.**

**not a paid endorsement for Breville

I love hot tea, but sweet tea is a completely different drink -- prevalence of tea not withstanding -- and the two can not be compared.

Oh my god I want some sweet tea right now!

IMO tea is always best when brewed hot: chilling is optional. The only exception would be a fresh herbal infusion... But that's probably not considered tea. We will just have to agree to disagree on this subject. And honestly even sweet tea sounds better than the detox smoothie I'm drinking right now :-/

innerspaceboy 08-14-2015 04:27 PM

I enjoy a Mango Ceylon "Metabolic Frolic" fruit infusion or any variety of rooibos teas.

Sweet tea is to real tea like a 7-Eleven French Vanilla Cappuccino is to a real Cappuccino. (The difference is about 20 grams of sugar per 8oz serving.)

A 14oz Sweet Tea at McDonalds clocks in at 54 grams of sugar. That's not tea. That's diabetes.
