I have a friend that hates canned lighting, and I always make it a point to point them out when ever I see them, so I'm gonna show him this and see what he says. I'll bet he calls me a name or two. It'll probably go something like:

Me: But what about the composition! *as I run after him putting the pic in his face*

Definitely. We have a piano in the room as well that makes the most of the reverberations. Used that on my last album and highlighted the resonance of the room a la Alvin Lucier to make my track more interesting.
