An ellipsis is three periods, not two.

I looked "extended period pause" up on Google just to be sure, and that's not a thing. You're thinking of an ellipsis---which is often used to show a pause---and an ellipsis is made using three periods, never two.

He's just making doubly sure that you know that the sentence is complete. Lay off of him, he's trying to help you.

DwnWthVwls 02-08-2015 06:07 PM

I made it up,,. I'm far more ahead of the english grammar.

^Commas mean you wait two as long as the extended period pause.

Please tell me you didn't seriously look that up on Google. I thought I made it pretty clear I was mocking you.

An em dash is a triple-hyphen. It's not my fault they're not connected on the forum.

I was actually so dizzy most of the time (being peripherally blind) just trying to stay out of the way of others but really, the entire building was the most amazing thing I've seen this past year.

Exo 02-08-2015 08:15 PM

That place is designed like an ecstasy fart.

yeah it was tricky to navigate with my vision. :(

We saw this super badass Star Wars exhibit but it was so crowded, I was apologizing left and right for being in the way (sorry, I can't see you) but everything about it was so worth it.

I didn't even notice until you pointed it out. Does it go a certain way whenever you smile? You're like Barney on How I Met Your Mother where every picture is the exact same :D

Looks like a lot of fun, and that room is trippy as hell.
