What sort of climate do you need for those? I had a potted homosexual before but its leaves kept dying :(

Yeah, well it's hard to grow anything in New England in November. Keep in mind that November is the springtime for New Zealand so that makes it a lot easier for them. If you're going to grow a homosexual where you are I'd recommend planting the bulb in late April.

Hmm I wouldn't say there's that much racial tension in the U.S. as evidenced by President Barack Obama. Racism happens everywhere, I think we Americans get hit upon harder for what we did because we've apologized for it and tried to make amends while other countries try and forget what they've committed. But again, that's just what I thought and I see that wasn't exactly the point you were making in your post, I just felt like going on a mini-rant of my own. :D

TheBig3 04-18-2009 11:23 AM

yeah I'm not sure its racial either. Its largely cultural.

Like, where are you from zzz?

midnight rain 04-18-2009 11:25 AM

Representin' the midwest, more specifically Ohio

Actually I hate the midwest, but I don't live there by choice

Theres not a world of difference between where I am and where he is in Ohio, but its a battle ground state and likely a receiver state, so the culture is certainly different.

Boston in general is more different than most places, I think something like 1 in every 7 people is under 35.

13% of our population has their PhD. where as other cities have a 1%.

We're still largely a conservative city since the church dominated us for so long. Boston to date has run out of town all its strip clubs and nothing is open past 2 that serves alcohol.
