I moved to the UK when I was 18 then back to Canada when I was 19 so I was legal in both places as the drinking ages are lower. As to the *** bar bit, my first roommate was *** and invited me out a few nights, they had a pool table and darts, which I'm good at.

Meh, someone invites you out for drinks doesn't really matter what the venue is like. Can't say I would ever go to them on a regular basis though. Even the girls there are very suspicious of straight men and for good reason, a *** club is the one place where a woman can go and not really have to worry about being hit on by men, just women that look like men.
