But hot dogs? like, 90% of them are basically heavily processed and salted scrap meats that no one wants to eat for good reason. I mean, enjoy your salted pig butthole but I'll pass. Veggie dogs taste pretty much the same after a few brews.

If you need to try that hard to make something that tastes like a round piece of nothing taste anywhere near as good as a real burger then you're just fooling yourself. I imagine any spices or whatever that you use to pretty up a veggie burger could be used to make a real one taste all that much better. There's a reason people try to make vegetables taste like meat, but don't try to make meat taste like vegetables. Because vegetarians secretly know they're settling for second best and want to pretend otherwise.

As are hotdogs. Literally. And figuratively.

Spiral up some zuchini or squash or whatever, blend up some beans and avocado, season. Eggs to help keep it together. Ground quinoa in olive oil if you're vegan.

Veggie burgers taste delicious but I've never tasted a vegetarian substitute that is a suitable replacement for the real thing(as far as taste is concerned).

Hot dogs taste good. I'm still doing the whole ovo-vegetarian thing for like 2 months now but prior to that I enjoyed liver, chicken hearts, fish eyes (fried red snapper anyone?), tripe, and cow tongue. I don't think it really matters what part of the animal it's from if it tastes good.

And? Why would I care where the delicious pigeon meat came from so long as mustard and chili make it a gut bomb worthy of a king. And all of your hot dog hate becomes as nothing in the face of sausage.

Ehh, maybe a nice cut of steak but beyond that I disagree. You think boiled chicken is awesome? even a pork chop thrown on the grill with 0 seasoning leaves a lot to be desired.

I think seafood is much more desirable unseasoned than land animal meat or vegetables. A fresh piece of raw tuna is absolutely amazing.
