Ladyislingering wouldn't understand. She likes girly men with pretty hands, not manly men who fight bears and are boss at Nintendo.

Show me a man here that has fought a bear and I'll show you a liar.

Show me a man here...

New glasses, longer hair, no scruffy beard. A face to the madness. Had to use some effects to get rid of the screen glare so it's a little goofy.

The Batlord 07-25-2014 05:56 PM

I didn't know Skrillex let the sides of his hair grow back.

GuD 07-25-2014 06:01 PM

...

goddamn you batlord.

I've had my hair like this since like 6th grade, who the **** is Skrillex?

ladyislingering 07-25-2014 06:03 PM

Have you ever used a straightening iron on your hair, WD? Just imagine the extra length hiding in there. Fab glasses, killer hair.

GuD 07-25-2014 06:07 PM

I have but it's too much work. Looks better curly anyways, it's pretty funny looking when straight.

ladyislingering 07-25-2014 06:10 PM

I know that pain, man. It takes me at least half an hour to iron my hair, so I just don't anymore. It's not worth it. Is it true that curly-haired people wish their hair was straighter, as people with straighter hair wish their hair was curly?

GuD 07-25-2014 06:23 PM

I'm happy with mine. I find it better to embrace the curl. The more you fight it the more you get frustrated so I just get stuff that's meant for curly/wavey-haired folks such as myself. The long it gets the curlier it gets, eventually it'll turn into little ringlet things that don't even look natural. My hair is some crazy business, man.

Engine 07-25-2014 06:41 PM

^I have a feeling that nobody is going to see you and wonder if your ringlets are natural or not

I don't need mine straight, just manageable. When I had mine grown out no matter what I did it was impossible to run a comb or a brush through it. Trying to do anything but put it in a frizzy ponytail was pretty much out of the question.

GuD 07-25-2014 08:27 PM

I had this haircut before anyone gave a **** about Skrillex. Mother****er copp'd muh style, yo.

GuD 07-25-2014 08:28 PM

the comparison is made pretty often, too.

Carpe Mortem 07-25-2014 08:47 PM

I'm gettin my hair professionally dyed for the first time in years tomorrow. I usually just do it myself, but I have four inches of natural root... something that happens pretty frequently because I'm a lazy indifferent bitch... and have decided to go back to my natural ashy brown.

I figure next time I'm feeling frisky for some new color I'll just do the tips, less commitment and something I've never tried.

Getting colors done at the salon is much better for your hair. Box dye is a killer of hair. I used to color, for years. Any color I ever wanted, I'd just go for it. I ended up having a terrible allergic reaction when I was 19 (about 6yrs ago), and never colored again. There's little traces of permanent dyes from years past in my hair, which gives it a really unique look, but I'll never color it again. I don't even blow-dry it. Beautiful hair depends on how well you treat it. :)

Yeah I try to be nice to it with coconut oil and stuff haha. It looked great long for years until I got creative and added layers. Now those layers are all split ended as **** and it's lookin crappy. Hopefully they can help me a bit tomorrow.

Shitty. :(

I've either been really careful or really lucky 'cause I don't have any split ends at all. Then again I go through conditioner like water and don't do abusive things to my hair, so I guess there's a reason for it. Split ends are the worst, though. I used to get them so badly when I was much younger because I had a liking for the curling iron and was just generally really rude to my hair. It would just look ... fried. All the time. Awful, horrible stuff.

I don't want long hair but I wish I had hair that nice.... My hair used to be really thick and now I'm thinning and I don't like it.

I'm pretty sure you make a lot of girls jealous.

GuD 07-26-2014 02:30 AM

Not that I'm aware of. It's almost at that point now where it's gonna start goin real crazy and ima need like 10 pounds of leave-in conditioner to keep it from becoming an upsidedown afro.

If headbutting were an Olympic sport then the guy right next to you would win the gold.

Goofle 07-27-2014 06:24 PM

Damn right. He's on some And and Dec shit.

But he is wearing a Doors shirt so let's let it slide.

RoxyRollah 07-27-2014 06:25 PM

Where did you find all these pretty friends...

I hope you have a couple bruisers in your arsenal so you can look better by comparison, of course.

This could be an advertisement picture for a cheesy sitcom about friends.

The Batlord 07-27-2014 08:17 PM

Coming this fall, Goofle11 is... Chandler Bing.

Goofle 07-27-2014 08:23 PM

I dig the dimensional blonde, very suiting. Your old color didn't seem to have as much personality.

A pic of me just after opening a festival with the SSB. I was about to pack up my small rig when someone wanted to get a pic, so I did the best Rockstar pose I could muster:

I actually did. A few people came up to shake my hand. Thats always a good feeling. A member of the band that went on after me (dude that took the pic) got a hold of me on FB, and we're doing some networking. I might sit in with his band sometime, and see how that goes. Other than that, the usual crowd from 4 years of being there were supportive as always. It was a great day.

Thanks Batty, I've actually been getting Star Wars post cards as well, I bought one the other day with Jabba the Hut with Leia in the gold bikini, I'll try to remember to post a picture. I'm glad you like my braid, it's something different than my usual style!

I totally agree, my natural hair colour had come through and I hadn't had my hair done in a year and a half. It's definitely a confidence boost.

Of the post card or you in a gold bikini? Either or both would be acceptable.
