We need to compare lengths. I think mines just slightly smaller than yours. Mine goes down to my hips. Very close to my ass though. I never cut it. It might sound weird but I'm conscious about it on buses as I have this paranoid thought that someone might try to chop it off.

If I had thick enough hair to pull off length I would go for it, but as it is my hair is always healthiest when short. Plus I never do anything with my hair so I might as well not have any.

Well you do look good with it short. I don't do anything with my hair either, I just have it down or in a ponytail. Boring to others but it works for me.

Thanks everyone, I adore it! My boyfriend did it for me and he was definitely more nervous than I was. He almost cut my ear off at one point. I wasn't able to donate anything because my hair was dyed, but my intention now that I know I like myself buzzed is to grow it out healthily until I reach the donate-able length and repeat the process indefinitely.

That's totally normal.....I almost cut my ear off every time I shave my head :)
