Harley doesn't need J-man to exist. She can have some adventures with Poison Ivy.

But how could you introduce the Joker's sidekick without the Joker? Not to mention that you'd then be introducing a new villain (Poison Ivy) with another new villain at the same time. It would **** with everything.

Pretty sure Poison Ivy was played by Uma Thurman at some point.

Bring back Jack Nicholson as the joker, and Harley Quinn for the first time. Let the Dark Knight series die with Heath Ledger and go back to the other movies, preferably with some up and coming buff guy as Batman who can do 3 or 4 movies. Frankly, as cool and dark as Ledger was, I've always loved Nicholson's comic-style wacky joker better.

I hope you don't mean Batman Forever or Tim burton's god awful goth interpretation of batman. Those movies were awful.

Jack nicholson did play the joker well but Heath made him a true psycho.
he lacked the comedic timing Jack brought to the character but he made the joker seem like the true crazy villain he is.

Moss 05-03-2014 01:13 PM

I find Tim Burton's Batman unwatchable.

At the time they came out, i liked them, but compared to the new ones they suck.

I gave the first Batman a marginal pass on 1. The look of the film, 2. Humor , 3. Kim Basinger looking glorious. But there were two or three titanic plot holes that pretty much sank that film (NPI)

Doesn't matter, you still have to introduce her in this/or the next series of films.

Meh. I liked him, but he played him too much as a gangster for my tastes. Ledger stripped the Joker down to his bare parts, dumping the comic book elements that might not work as well in a film, and just played him as a pure psychotic... with clown make-up. Glorious.

I played it for a little bit but only on the good side. IDK I got bored of it pretty quickly especially since I was playing the console version and not the PC version. I may have stuck with it longer if it was the PC version I tried.

They can take a different route and just show her obsession with Joker. She doesn't have to be introduced as his sidekick with him being alongside her.

There is nothing wrong with introducing two new villains. Tell that to those spiderman movies that introduce three new villains in one movie.

What? She's the Joker's sidekick. How are you going to introduce a character whose entire purpose is to be obsessed with the Joker without him even being in the movie? Besides, you wouldn't even be introducing Ivy, the bat**** crazy eco-terrorist, and Harley Quinn. You'd be introducing the comic book version of Thelma and Louise without any real context for either character. It would be painful.

I guess you're right. Sandman, Venom, and I'm sure the new Electro is going to be not at all ****ty either.

I would be perfectly fine with that. Screw concentrating so much on villain origin stories. All they have to do is just lightly touch on the Joker without showing him. She could have a shrine to him or something with strands of his hair laying around and be creative with it. He isn't completely necessary imo.

I haven't seen the new Spidey yet but I think Electro is supposedly like the main villain while the others are kind of side villains but they are building towards the Sinister Six being in their own movie so they showcase other parts of that team.

Without the Joker she just becomes comic relief. The dynamic between them is why she is dramatically compelling. I remember an episode of the nineties cartoon where Harley manages to capture Batman and tries to kill him while she tells her whole back story. Then at the end Batman reveals that all the stuff Joker told her to charm her over to his side were just made-up and she has this moment where she's crying and her heart is obviously breaking, but then, still crying, the denial comes to the surface and she tries to kill Batman again. It's one of those character moments that just totally sells the character and reveals her inner workings, and without the Joker playing a part I don't see how you could get something like that.

A bit dated, but still relevant. Here I am with "The Pick Of Mojo". A pick that has been around the globe a bit. Everyone that gets it has to either play a tune with it, or just snap a pic of themselves with it. Being the over-achiever that I am, I did both.

Why? Ruining other people's happiness with mindless cynicism is one of life's great joys.

Get the maybaline gel, apply and then erraticate your mishaps with a wet q-tip for the perfect line.

I have applied this make-up for 15 years, same every day eyeliner red lips. I have just mastered the art of it I guess...

Ps. Hold your eyelid and stretch it out like you did in school pretending to Asian. I know almost every non Asian has done that. Give you a smooth lid to work with!
