Thanks, I've used it before and just noticed my previous avatar was still exhibiting the holiday spirit so it was time for a change and this was already resized.

Hmm, really? Christmas was about a month ago, so it took you about a month to notice that? Honestly, I'd notice my avatar is "outdated"(or whatever it may be called) long before that.

My name's Pete, like in my username. I am from Canada but my dad is Welsh and my mum's parents are English. My entire family on both side consists of English, Welsh, and Irish (no Scots as far as I know) and growing up in such a British family has lead to some of that culture rubbing off on me (ew), like saying mum or porridge, or attempting to rule over half the world.

D'Angelo is originally an Italian name though. ;)

Cool. Sometimes I'll use a Harry quote out of the blue. Like when someone comes over, I'll tell em "You can sleep on the couch... ...and there's beer... in the fridge." as they look at me like I'm from another planet.

There usually IS beer in the fridge, so it works out... kinda.

Good Nyborg, man.

Know what you mean, I can't tell if I am serious half the time.

Your name is, although, originally Italian/ Roman but it is quite a common name in England due to the whole Roman occupation thing.

He was talking about the name D'Angelo or something... Pete or Peter is English but there's an Italian version - I think it's Pietro.

The name Peter comes from the Latin Petra, meaning rock or stone. Pietro is Peter in Italian and Pietra is rock in Italian.

Google says it's originally Greek.

On a side note, I think Pete should change his name to Pietro that would be pretty stellar.

Latin is like 90% Greek, to be on the safe side let's say its Mediterranean in origin.

En route to France last week. We drove over 1800 miles which doesn't include 4 ferry trips over a 5 day period that took in 4 countries. If you are wondering why I have a hat on it was storm force ten outside!

Never tried out the webcam on my laptop before, I thought that the "noir" filter would add a fedora and silhouette though.

You are rather scrummy. Num!

Not gonna lie, at first I thought you typed "scummy" and then I had to go look up what scrummy meant on UrbanDictionary.

Thanks :)

Po, you bare a striking resemblance to Alan Davies.

FETCHER. 02-03-2013 11:28 AM

hahah, you are such a mad irish bastard. :)

gunnels 02-04-2013 01:48 AM

Po, you look really, really familiar, but I can't put a finger on who you resemble at the moment. =\

Anyway, I'm feeling like a vain jackass tonight, so have a crappy webcam pic of me and my insomnia.

Gunnels, you seem cleaner than your average vain jackass insomniac. Just sayin'. You look like the kind of guy I would have gone for before I started dating Mediterranean skin tones.

No, nothing so exciting. It was more of a working trip grabbing the last belongings of a friend who recently moved from Germany to Ireland so lot's of endless motorways and crappy French service stations but it was a blast.

FETCHER. 02-05-2013 05:43 AM

Nothing wrong with a kilt at all :) I imagine as a guy they would be very comfortable because its basically a rule that you go commando = unlimited ball space & excellent time saver.

So I found this old photo (was taken ~10 or so years ago) and it reminded me of a better, gentler time. When people had respect for each other, food was cheap and the government stayed off my back.
Ah yes, the wonderful times when I didn't have to work to live.
I'm the one standing up, this is the morning after a party I wish I could tell you something about, but I can't remember a god damned thing.
